whilst helping to ensure the next generation of little tigers run free in the jungle.

We are a husband-and-wife team based in Somerset – in a nutshell we are eco-zoologists with a healthy obsession for India and wildlife, especially tigers.
We created TIGERMASALA for a number of reasons:
- it merges our love of the country with our green thinking…
- we wanted to establish strong working relationships with small cottage industries in India, supporting traditional practices and craftsmanship…
- with the desire to bring high quality products at a fair price to the UK…
- since we believe that there are many benefits of choosing organic as a way of life.

ps why TIGERMASALA?
No it’s not a tiger-curry! We created “TIGERMASALA” as an email address for our travels many years ago…at the time we thought it was catchy, but since we have found out that ‘masala’ doesn’t just mean spice mix, it also means gossip/news. The American “what’s up?” is the Indian “what’s the masala?”
So in effect TIGERMASALA is a spicy-mix of news, products, information and tigers!
